Sovereign Gold Bonds 2020-21-Series-XII, issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on behalf of the government of India, will be open for subscription from March 1, 2021 to March 5, 2021. The Bonds will be issued on the March 9, 2021. The issue price is ₹4,662 per gram of gold. Special discount of ₹4,612 per gram for the investors applying online and the payment against the application is made through digital mode. For such investors, the issue price of the gold bond will be ₹4,612 per gram of gold. Assured return of 2.50% PA payable half-yearly.
Retail Investor can invest Minimum 1 GM and Maximum 4 Kg. The 4Kg limit is per financial year. The Maximum limit of HUF is 4 Kg, Trusts and similar entities is 20 Kg
