Sovereign Gold Bonds 2019-20-Series-VIII

Sovereign Gold Bonds 2019-20-Series-VIII opens on Monday and the issue price has been fixed at ₹4,016 per gram.

Sovereign Gold Bonds 2019-20-Series-VIII, issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on behalf of the government of India, will be open for subscription from January 13, 2020 to January 17, 2020. The Bonds will be issued on the January 21, 2020. The issue price is ₹4,016 per gram of gold. Special discount of ₹3,966 per gram for the investors applying online and the payment against the application is made through digital mode. For such investors, the issue price of the gold bond will be ₹3,966 per gram of gold. Assured return of 2.50% PA payable half-yearly.

Retail Investor can invest Minimum 1 GM and Maximum 4 Kg. The 4Kg limit is per financial year. The Maximum limit of HUF is 4 Kg, Trusts and similar entities is 20 Kg
