Sovereign Gold Bonds 2018-19-Series-II, issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on behalf of the government of India, will be open for subscription from October 15, 2018 to October 19, 2018. The Bonds will be issued on the October 23, 2018. The issue price is ₹3,146 per gram of gold. Special discount of ₹3,096 per gram for the investors applying online and the payment against the application is made through digital mode. For such investors, the issue price of the gold bond will be ₹3,096 per gram of gold. Assured return of 2.50% PA payable half-yearly.
Retail Investor can invest Minimum 1 GM and Maximum 4 Kg. The 4Kg limit is per financial year. The Maximum limit of HUF is 4 Kg, Trusts and similar entities is 20 Kg
